Welcome to Scannguard. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and related services. By accessing this website, purchasing our QR code stickers, or using any part of our service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any clause below, you should not use Scannguard or any associated services.

1. Overview of Our Service

Scannguard provides a digital contact solution for vehicle owners. Through our platform, customers can purchase unique QR code stickers that, when scanned by a third party, redirect to a secure form allowing that person to message the vehicle owner — without knowing or sharing personal phone numbers or emails.

This solution is useful in public situations, such as:
• Emergency or illegal parking
• Blocking of exits or driveways
• Low fuel alert, open windows, or keys left inside
• Any situation where someone may need to contact a vehicle owner without confrontation

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use Scannguard services, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide valid contact details (mobile number/email)
• Agree to receive messages via our platform for any scan request

By registering, you agree that all information submitted is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining your account credentials and must notify us immediately in case of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

3. QR Code Stickers – Usage Guidelines

Your purchase includes a unique QR code sticker linked to your secure digital profile. By purchasing and using this sticker, you agree to the following:

The QR sticker is intended only for use on a single registered vehicle.
You may not reuse, duplicate, or transfer the code to multiple vehicles.
Do not tamper with, modify, or obscure the QR code.
You are responsible for correct placement of the sticker where it is visible but protected from damage.

Misuse of the sticker or system, including using one code on multiple cars, will lead to deactivation without refund.

4. Communication Process and User Conduct

The Scannguard QR code system is built for safe, anonymous, and respectful communication. The person scanning the code (Scanner) fills a secure form, and the message is forwarded to the registered vehicle owner (Owner).

By using the system:

The Owner agrees to receive and respond to legitimate messages as applicable.
The Scanner agrees to use the system only for responsible, courteous communication.

Prohibited actions include:

Sending threats, spam, or harassment through the contact form
Attempting to hack, intercept, or track messages
Using the sticker for commercial promotion, political messaging, or defamation
Replacing the original QR code with another to mislead or redirect traffic

Scannguard reserves the right to ban IP addresses, report abuse to authorities, or disable QR codes in case of misuse.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

Scannguard is committed to safeguarding your privacy. The service is built so that vehicle owners and scanners can interact anonymously, without revealing phone numbers or personal information.

We collect the following data:

Vehicle owner contact details (for message delivery)
Scanner’s message, timestamp, and device info
IP address and location (if permissions are given)

We use this data to deliver messages, detect abuse, and maintain platform security. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Payments, Shipping & Refunds

All purchases made on our site are subject to the following:

Pricing: Inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
Payment Methods: We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, and secure gateways.

Refund Policy: Refunds are not available once the QR sticker is printed and shipped. Defective or non-functional codes will be replaced free of charge. All refund or replacement requests must be raised within 5 days of delivery.

7. Service Duration, Expiry & Renewal

Each QR code remains active for 1 year from activation. You will be notified prior to expiration and offered renewal. Expired codes may be deactivated without notice. A fee may apply for renewal or reactivation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Scannguard is a communication tool — we do not guarantee responses or real-time delivery. We are not liable for:

Conflicts or disputes resulting from QR usage
Third-party misuse of stickers or contact forms
Loss or damage of stickers post-delivery
